Laboratory of Information Technologies for Nature-Industrial Systems Control

Results of scientific studies and developments

 

  • Mining operations safety. Participation in development, upgrading and maintenance of automated system and controlling technique for rock ore condition at JSC “Apatite”.
  • Safety of the system “underground object of nuclear technology – natural environment”.  Model of interaction between an object and environment is developed. Environment monitoring system is worked out.  Possible accidents propagation scenarios are analyzed. Certain subsystems are assigned hazard levels. The results are included into technical documentation concerning a number of certain objects’ safety. At present calculation models for system condition parameters which are important for safety are being developed (in collaboration with Mining Institute KSC RAS).
  • Diagnostics and forecasting of critical and emergency conditions of chemical and technological processes. Method for discreet automated models is worked out. The models serve to search and detect faulty technological units and structures. Automated diagnostics system is developed. Scientific-technical documentation is issued.
  • Analysis and estimation of objects’ industrial safety. A part of safety declaration for JSC “Apatite”, that of safety analysis of industrial objects of the company (explosive materials warehouse, chlorine warehouse and tailing dumps) was compiled. Safety declaration for gas-filling station (Apatity) is being developed. Background of a number of SRW (scientific research works) on safety estimation for military objects were prepared and passed to the Sector of applied problems (Murmansk).
  • Regional safety control. A unified system of regional safety control and formalizing of hazard concept is proposed. Simulation model of town-building enterprise safety is worked out (JSC “Apatite” taken as an example).
  • Labour conditions assessment at working places, certification of labour safety requirements at industrial objects. Formulation of scientific-methods basics of evaluation and certification is begun. Two reports from certification experts of Russian Ministry of Labour were received. Labour committee included one research assistant into a working group assessing equipment injury safety and defining the class of labour conditions at work places in Murmansk region. Agreement on injury safety evaluation at work places for a number of specialties at JSC “Apatute” is compiled.
