Regional Information Systems Laboratory

 Regional Information Systems Laboratory

Subjects of scientific studies:

  • methods and models for structural synthesis of problem-oriented regional information systems;
  • methods and models for monitoring and analysis of information processes in regional communication networks;
  • methods and technologies for development of distributed information systems components;
  • development of integrated information systems for regional management as well as complex scientific studies and education (2008).

Results of scientific studies and developments:

I.                   Design issues of global and integrated information and communication systems and networks. Development of GRID technologies (2008):

1.      Method of logical integration for heterogeneous innovations information resources is worked out. The novelty of the method is forming of general innovative activity thesaurus in terms of which retrieval requests are generated and translated into terms of private information resources ontologies. The method ensures extension of integrated resources by adding notions from private ontologies into thesaurus basing on complex analysis of their semantic distance (Shishaev Maxim Gennadjevich, Lomov Aleksey Andreevich).

2.      Method minimizing internode interactions in peer-to-peer problem-oriented distributed systems, is worked out. The method is based on clustering of program agents in a semantic field represented as a conceptual model of the subject domain, as well as on transforming of internode interactions into innernode ones. The method implementation reduces load on communication infrastructure and increases the accessibility index for agent application services (Shishaev Maxim Gennadjevich, Masloboev Andrey Vladimirovich).

II.                Methods and technologies for information support of innovations life cycle (2008):

1.      Models and methods for information support of innovations life cycle

2.      Information and communication infrastructure for innovations development

3.      Problem-oriented technologies for information support of innovations
